    Management accounts and Financial planning

Want to grow your business? Gain a better understanding of the financial performance of your company? Or pull financial reports that can help you plan for ‘what if’ scenarios?

Financial planning and compiling management accounts put you in the driving seat of your business’ finances. Management accounts are made up of detailed financial reports, like a Cash Flow Statement, a Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Report.

These financial reports aren’t required by law and you won’t need to file them to HMRC. But they can lift the lid on your expenditure and identify your sales pipeline which can help you run and grow your business and plan for all eventualities.

    Better your finance management

You can put the management accounts together yourself, or more realistically, at AnRos Consultancy Ltd, our professional, trained and experienced small business accountants can do it for you.

Whether it’s a quarterly Profit & Loss report or a monthly Balance Sheet, our team of accountants can help you stay on top of your business’ finances so you can see a detailed overview of where your business is, and where you plan to take it next.

    FAQs

    What are management accounts?

These are reports for business directors that have information about how a company performed during a period and their liabilities and assets at a specific date. They are similar to Annual Accounts but less formal and intend to give the director insights into management decisions.

I have recently started a business. Would management accounts be beneficial to me?

Certainly yes. Our experience shows that the sooner an entrepreneur understands his/her business’s financial correlations, the better business decisions are made.

What is included in financial planning service?

Financial planning service is intended to align the current financial situation of a business with its future goals. The service includes initial consultation, financial data analysis and production of financial model reports with narratives and follow-up sessions.

How often would you recommend having Management Accounts?

The management accounts aim to provide timely insights for decision-making. We recommend looking at your management accounts figures at least once a month, ideally once a week, depending on the nature of the business.
