    What is this course about?

    The course looks at what an entrepreneur needs to know about managing a company’s finances to maximise profits and grow the business. It helps small businesses or start-ups to implement the financial management tools which large and successful companies do. The course consists of 4 Zoom sessions with 10% theory and 90% practical exercises using your business figures. After the course, you will have a financial management system for your business.

    What is the course syllabus?

    There are 4 modules in the course:

    1. KPI and 8 Basic Processes That Every Business Have.
    2. Understanding of Actual Finance Position of Your Business. How to utilise bookkeeping records and see the actual profitability of your business.
    3. The Balance Point. How much you need to spend so all the goals are achieved (such as dividends payout, taxes, salaries, purchases, etc)
    4. The implementation of Financial Planning and Analysis. We go through every step to ensure that the financial management system is implemented into your business just like large and successful companies do.

    I don’t have a business yet; can I do this course?

    The course is intended for businesses with trading activity. This is because, during the course, we work on actual bookkeeping data to create a personalised financial management system.

    What do I need to start the course?

    You need to have your business bookkeeping records for the last 6-12 months in accounting software or Excel and contact us to schedule your first session.

    I will have to share my business information. Is there a confidentiality system in place?

    As an accountancy firm licensed and regulated by AAT, we follow industry confidentiality standards restricting data access strictly to authorised personnel. A confidentiality Agreement will be signed at the start of the course.
