Empowering small businesses to grow
Ekaterina founded AnRos Consultancy Ltd in 2022 to help make the complicated world of accounting and tax accessible for small business owners.
Ekaterina does so through the use of her range of business accounting and business finance management services. One day she’ll be preparing statutory accounts and bookkeeping. Then the next, she’s tax planning for a business start-up and delivering a bespoke Financial Management Practical Course supplying company founders with everything they need to thrive in the face of adversity. Knowledge is power, after all!
Ekaterina has more than 13 years’ experience in the sector and her expertise of business finance spans continents. Before moving to London in 2009 to follow her childhood dream of becoming an accountant in the ‘financial capital of the world’, Ekaterina worked in Portugal for a stock exchange-listed company and in Russia for a property management business.
Along with her degree in Economics, Ekaterina holds all the necessary qualifications to legally practise accountancy in the UK. She holds an ACCA Qualification and is an AAT-licensed accountant. Never one to stand still, Ekaterina is currently studying for a CTA Qualification, which will enable her to become a chartered tax adviser.
AnRos — which takes its name from Ekaterina’s twin daughters Anastacia and Rosana — helps to fill a gap in the market. At the time, Ekaterina was working in the finance sector for a corporate company and noticed that smaller businesses could operate more efficiently and grow much faster if they used the financial management tools and business accounting services their larger counterparts did.
Using her decades’ of industry knowledge, she made it her mission to educate small businesses about this, creating informative videos on Instagram. She gained her first client shortly after and the rest, they say, is history.
Ekaterina has a personal attachment to small business owners. Being one herself, she knows of the trials and tribulations it takes to grow a business from the ground up. But she knew her skills and years of training could help others. It’s why she offers all the essential compliance offerings, like a self assessment service and filing VAT returns, alongside the more practical finance management advisory service and educational workshops.
Of course every accountant needs a day off from looking at spreadsheets. When Ekaterina’s not mediating in Excel or delivering bespoke accounting and tax services, she’s out on a morning jog or at home, spending time with her daughters, husband and their beloved chihuahua dog.
